This is ultimately for the improvement of current dancers/escorts and to give prospectively new ones that are thinking of becoming one advice.

Basically what sort of things do you like and dislike and not just appearance. Obviously they need to have a decent avatar along with some good dances, but other than that what do you think? Would you rather they RP in the normal local chat or speak to you more privately? If it is a dancer how far should they go when they are dancing? I have noticed some seem to just chat while others RP, what is you preference. Anything else you think would help a dancer and or escort improve?

Note:
Remember, keep comments civil, no singling anyone out. If this topic does make a turn for the worst for some reason I ask an Admin please delete it ASAP.

The RP is the most obvious one, and IMO the most important one.

Personally I attempt to keep things in main chat, so others around the table can enjoy the whole show, make it a bit more interresting by interaction with the customers and especially the tipping ones... Make them feel like their tip was really worth it, or they might just wait for someone else to tip enough to get the next garment off. As far as going far, its a matter of personal limits. I go pretty far if the tips are worth the trouble, and sometimes (when the tippers are as much woth it as their fat tips hehe) even break the no touching rule I set for myself. Like in RL, touching the dancers is a no-no. (this is strictly a personal rule, of course)

You mention chatting, and that's a part of the interaction for me. Not just wink and blow them a kiss and whatnot, but make the guests feel welcomed and appreciated. How was your day, what a nice shirt you have on, etc etc etc.

And that brings to what for me is the most important role of the dancers, keep the guests happy and entertained and make them feel welcomed. We're the hosts and hostesses of the club, basicallly (Aside from the obvious specialized roles for that hehe)

On the rping bit, I definitely agree, but just don't do what i've had a tendancy of doing in the past - wall o' text o' doom (literally hitting the program's chat buffer)....

its hard not to make a wall of text, specially since chat history is usually rather narrow to be able to see other stuff then just the chat. Hitting the buffer of course is a bit overdoing it, but just one line isnt sufficient for any RP by far.

Id rather make a long nice description then nothing at all.

Which reminds me, what's with that no showboating rule? lol It kinda makes it hard for dancers to do their work if they're not allowed to make long descriptive RP...?

or is that rule about showboating of a different kind....?
