Redoing groundlevel

As you may have noticed we're working hard on redoing groundlevel. Making it a lot more interesting than just a piece of land with some trees. In stead it'll be a lushful tropical haven.

At the same time this exchanges all linden trees for static trees which should help a bit in reducing the simload.

Check out the work in progress and comment with your ideas and critiques on the forum.

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that there has been a few minor changes made here and there to the forum if you haven't noticed.

We've added a suggestion board. Under that you'll find the following sections for all staff and members:

Events - A place where you can post suggestions on various event ideas or improvements, etc.
GYC Shopping Centre - Where you can propose possible vendor ideas or possible additions to the Mall area, etc.
DJ's/Live Performances - Where members can propose and discuss DJ and performance related matters.
General Discussion - For any other cool ideas towards the GYC in any aspect.

We value your input and want to hear from our loyal staff and customers. Cheesy

Also we've updated the Staff Forum's section in order to allow each Staff group to have a Topic Board of their very own. (i.e. Dancers/Escorts have a board that only they have access to, Security has a board that only they have access to meaning Dancer/Escorts have their own board but people in security can't see it and vice versa and etc.)

Keep in mind though Management still gets to hang out with all of you lol.

We also have a similar board under the same section for our 5 star members (GYC Family) to use that can only be used or seen by Administrators, Global Moderators, and Management.

And finally, we've also added a Help section where you can ask for and receive help from our staff and other members.

And again if you guys have any questions or suggestions, feel free to use our new Help and Suggestions section! Cheesy

Second Pride 2009

This May heralds an event of Epic proportions. Second pride, an annual charity fundraising event, each year raising money for a different international charity. This year’s charity is Amnesty International.

Now the festival itself spans 6 whole Sims and comprises of various stages, broadcasting, live bands and live Dj’s over a 7 day period. Apart from music there is a shopping area, theme park, talks, lectures and more. GYC provides a pyramid stage and a casino. Over all it will be a fun week starting on the 23rd of May and finishing on the 30th. Definatly an event not to be missed.
